Further, in 2025, we have Vaishakh Amawasya falling on 27 April 2025.
As per Dirk Panchang, the tithi will start on 27th April 2025 at 04:49 AM in the morning, and will end on 28th April 2025 at 01:00 AM.
Hence, as per Udaya Tithi, this year Vaishakh Amawasya will be observed on Sunday, 27 April 2025. Details are as follows :
Brahma Muhurta – 03:57 AM to 04:41 AM
Tarpan time – 04:49 AM( 27 April) to 01:00 AM (28 April)
Abhijit Muhurta – 11:30 AM to 12:22 PM
Godhuli Muhurta – 06:25 AM to 06:47 AM

Importance of Sattu on Vaishakh Amawasya 2025
Apparently, it is advised to make donation of Sattu on Vaishakh Amavasya. On this day, people do perform the Shraddha rituals for their ancestors. - As per hindu scriptures, worship Lord Vishnu and chant mantras dedicated to Shri Hari.
- Additionally, devotees donate money, clothes, sweets and dakshina to Brahmins.
- In addition to, do not forget light incense sticks and diya. Also, offer ghee, oil, garlands, flowers, sweets for offering, kumkum, gulal, and clothes to the river, and deity in the temple.
- However, we have Vaishakh Amawasya falling on Saturday, so devotees should recite Hanuman Chalisa to get rid of bad dreams and attain wealth.
