Here, the festival used to had elephants decorated from top to bottom in colorful clothes. Not only this, they were also had various designs being drawn on them. And, it is the way to show them gratitude and respect.
Elephants Festival 2025
Moreover, a procession would be carried out around the pink city showcasing the ecstasy of parade of elephants, dance, music and lots of fun. Audience used to have mesmerising experience at this extravaganza.
Now a days, this procession is well organised and follow the norms of animal welfare. Organisers include chariots, palanquins, and lancers in the procession. Infact, this festival also includes elephant polo, elephant dances and tug of war. I am sure, these words are giving you goosebumps to not to miss this gala event.
Also, the Elephant Festival is the colourful parade of other animals too. There are lavishly decorated elephants ,horses and camels wearing luxurious saddles, anklets, ear danglers, head plates and other jewelry. Audiencses and local people greet the elephants by sprinkling colours on them.
At the end of the festival, the best-decorated elephant gets an award. Indeed, the celebration does not stop here, it also includes live concerts with traditional dances and music, feasting and many other crowdful festive atmosphere.
